She the valiant – Sudha Chandran

Sudha chandran was born on 27th September 1965 in Mumbai. She is an accomplished bharatnatyam dancer. She got into a vehicular accident where she sustained a small cut on her right leg and a fracture in her right femur. Nothing serious, really even the doctor who treated her did not take it seriously and just covered the cut and left it to heal by itself. Only that instead of healing, it developed gangrene. As she lost her leg but she never stopped her career in acting and dancing she continued all of it with a prosthetic leg. She started walking again with the help of wooden leg and crutches.


The life of Sudha Chandran teaches us to never lose hope. Even after she lost her leg, she didn't give up her dream of becoming a dancer.
