 SHE# The Smile of courage-NEERAJA BHANOT

Neeraja is a brave women with a bright smile on her face all the time. Neeraja was born on 7th September 1963, Chandigarh, India. Her parents were Rama Bhanot and Harish Bhanot.

       She worked as a model and flight attendant purser. Just 2 days before her 23rd birthday she died while saving passengers on PAN Am Flight73 which had been hijacked by terrorists during a stepover in Karachi, Pakistan. She was shot while helping the passengers through emergency exists.

Her life and heroism inspired the biopic Neeraja ,which was directed by Ram madhacani starring sonam Kapoor in 2016.

                          Bhanot’s brave calm courage and determined mind had helped her to insure the passenger’s safety during the hijack which made her inspiration.
