Richa kar, the name being Highlighted as the one of the most successful women entrepreneurs of India, was born and brought up in city of Jamshedpur. She completed her studies in year 2007. After which she worked at SAP retail and Spencer's. She got to work with owner of Victoria secrets, which holds a really huge impact on her journey. She realised how lingerie and taboo in India goes hand in hand. Because here in India people are still embarrassed talking about lingerie. Just as other success stories doesn't have no struggles, some of the struggles she faced was her mother being worried what will people say when they hear her daughter is selling bra and panties online, her father not being supportive of the idea of lingerie business, people making fun etc.

But Richa was adamant, she gave all into her venture. She researched about how women felt about buying lingerie, as the knowledge of retail sector was not enough. She even visited shops and mall. She kept all the factors in mind, such as fitting, money etc., finally starting up "zivame", derived from Greek meaning 'radiant me'. She launched the brand in 2011, with all the savings she got. Her hard work and dedication paid off when she got her first client, who spent 7000 rupees on her business. She proved how being confident, hardworking and believing in ourselves can get us through anything. She believed her idea was worth trying, and it proved out to be the most influential thing she did.
